President Cindy (Bortz) Hawkins Pride Baritone 1991-1994 I am honored to serve as your alumni president since 2017. It amazes me daily how many people I encounter that were also in The Pride. I currently work for Consumer Cellular as a scheduling analyst, and I teach sixth grade ELA at Central Elementary School in Moore, OK. I have one child, Nicholas, who is a senior in high school. My free time is spent watching him play football, basketball and (sometimes) baseball. He keeps me very busy! Our favorite things to do are attend sporting events and concerts of all musical types. | Vice-President Nick Nicholson Pride Tuba 1988-1993; Graduate Assistant Director 1994-1995 KKY Delta Sgt.-At-Arms and Phi Mu Alpha President I am so honored to serve as your vice-president. The people I have met and have reconnected with during my time as an officer has made me realize what we have as a Pride family. It is truly humbling to me when I think of the friendships I have made. I received a bachelor's and master's in music education and minored in psychology and biology. I served as a band director for 13 years after graduation. Being interested in the health profession, I made a career change and am now an abdominal thoracic specialist. In my spare time I work in the movie industry as an actor, director, and producer where I have been involved in more than 100 film projects. I also serve on the SAG-AFTRA national board of directors. I live in Sugar Land, Texas, with my wife and college sweetheart, Mikki, who played flute in The Pride from 1988-1993. |
Secretary Grant Gregory Pride Mellophone, 1986-1989 I got to go to 2 Orange Bowls, 1 Citrus Bowl and 1 PSO Parade of Lights Parade in Tulsa (probation year!) Being in the Pride those 4 years was one of the highlights of my life. I have deeply enjoyed working with the OUBAA and helping get Pride alumni involved with the OUBAA and current Pride members. I graduated in December, 1990, with a degree in Accounting. Later, I got an MBA from the University of Chicago. During my 33 year corporate career I’ve worked as an accountant, a process improvement analyst and an IT Project Manager. Now, working for American Fidelity in Oklahoma City, I manage a team of IT Project Managers working on Software, Data, Infrastructure and Security projects. With my wife Charlotte and 2 kids (now grown) we’ve lived in Tulsa, OK, Chicago, IL, Richmond, VA and have been back in OKC since 2009. | Treasurer Graeme Biggs |
